Chicago Fire Actor visits Local Fire Station

Actor from NBC’s show ‘Chicago Fire’ visits the local fire station.

Joe Minoso the actor of NBC’s Chicago Fire has met a lot of fans since he was cast on the show and according to him it never gets old especially when it comes to the fire fighters.  He stated that the fire fighters open their doors and arms to you. Plus according to Joe it is very wonderful and fun to be around the fire fighters. 

Recently he was seen at the Matthews fire Department where the fire department was honored to meet the Chicago Fire actor. However Joe stated that he was the one who was honored to be with them and he praised the bravery of the fire fighters who he said did not care about their safety in order to save others. Joe also stated that it is a privilege for him to play the role of a fire fighter. 

However he explained that playing the role is not easy as everything that is used is 100 percent real. He explained that all of the bunker gear is real and all of the equipment is also real. The Fire Captain of Matthews Fire Department, Ryan Watkins stated that the training that they go through is more realistic these days than it has been in the past with other fire fighter shows. 

According to WCNC, Joe also stated that the real drill was actually something he wouldn’t think of as it require a lot of bravery and skill and so he is happy to leave it to the professionals.
