Chris Brown is suspected of attacking and injuring a man while playing a basketball game in Las Vegas.

According to a press release from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, on Monday morning, an adult male victim called to the police and reported that he was beaten by another male subject during a basketball game at palms Casino Resort. The suspect was later identified as the recording artist Chris Brown, who allegedly punched the victim over a verbal argument. The victim added that he was preparing to defend himself from this onslaught when he was hit again by another man reportedly someone from the Brown’s camp.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated for minor, non-life threatening injuries and was released afterwards. According to the police, Brown was given an option to sign a citation of misdemeanor battery or the case will be submitted to the court for the prosecution. The police have heard nothing from him so far.

However, via publicist Nicole Perna, Chris denied the involvement in the altercation. “Chris is currently in Las Vegas as he is performing at Drai’s on /4/5th and receiving a key to the strip that day as well,” Perna said in a statement. “He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person.”

This is the second time in the span of few days when the 25-year old recording artist has been accused of the battery. Earlier, Brown was involved in a physical fight at a Los Angeles gym during a pick-up basketball game. He just settled the lawsuit and now he is facing same kind of trouble again.

His list of violence accusations starts a long time ago in 2009 when he was charged with felony assault for physically abusing his then girlfriend Rihanna and was sentenced to five years of probation, one year of domestic violence counseling and six months of community service. The probation officially ended on March 20, 2015. Meanwhile, in 2013, Brown attacked a person outside a hotel in Washington. DC. He was arrested on assault charges and sent to the jail. That same year, he was also involved in a hit-and-run incident. He voluntarily entered the rehab as well.
