We have now started seeing Christina Aguilera’s baby bump and she is making no attempts to hide it under covers. She recently made an appearance at the New Orleans Jazz Festival on Friday evening wearing tight little black dress which further helped to pronounce her growing tummy. But this wasn’t weighing her down since she seemed to be full of energy as she appeared for her performance. From what we have had from the Times-Picayune, she ripped through the hour-plus set and opened with Nina Simone’s Be My Husband.

During her performance she stopped to tell the crowd ‘Smells amazing. My senses are sharpened. I’ve got a baby girl along for the ride.’ The tight black dress was revealing a lot of cleavage of the 33 year old singer and her attire had been paired with a flowing, white, asymmetric cardigan which she probably opted for to hide the baby bump but it wasn’t doing much. She had accessorized this dress with black fishnet tights. She certainly knows how to put together her clothing. Everything was topped up with a black fedora which perfectly complimented her signature blonde tresses. With her lips painted bright red, the Candyman singer belted out her hits and a selection of covers, including Etta James’s At Last.

The baby’s father, film producer Matthew Rutler, has been her lover since the past three years and she finally decided to pop the question on Valentine’s Day this year. The couple met in 2010 when they were on the set of Burlesque in which she starred with Cher and he was a film assistant, while she and Jordan were going through a painful split. Close to the Valentine’s Day, Rutler’s mother gave away a slight hint that the couple was expecting their first child together and she also revealed that she had been asked not to say much about it. Christina Aguilera already has a 6 year old son who will now be getting a baby sister.
