Thanks to NBC’s Super Stream Sunday, Cord Cutters can watch the Super Bowl 2015 broadcast for free online.
If you are one of the rebellious cord cutters you still will be able to watch the Super Bowl 2015 online and even for free. NBC is lifting the cable account login requirement on Super Bowl Sunday and you can watch all Super Bowl Pre-Game, Super Bowl Game and even the season premiere of The Blacklist for free online.
Normally the NBC online stream requires a log-in that is connected to your cable/satellite/telco credentials. Under the NBC Super Stream Sunday this barrier for cord cutters is gone.
The special access event kicks off at noon ET on NBC with the Super Bowl 2015 pre-game coverage. The Super Bowl 2015 Kick-off is at 6:30pm.
The Blacklist follows post-game coverage at approximately 10 p.m. ET.
All Super Bowl content will be live streamed to desktops and tablets via NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Digital’s live streaming product. The Blacklist will also be streamed to desktops through NBC.com. (NOTE: NBC Sports Digital does not have NFL live streaming rights to mobile devices.)
After the Blacklist you have create an account to continue the access to NBC with a cable/satellite/telco credentials. NBC hopes to convert some of the cord cutters to become subscribers. NBC does not have the subscription option yet like CBS.
The online NBC Super Bowl live stream is only available within the United States. For international online Super Bowl streaming we recommend the NFL Network.
The Super Bowl 2015 will take place on February 1, 2015 in Arizona. The Super Bowl XLIX game will be played in the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. NBC is broadcasting the Super Bowl 2015.
