Curt Schilling has auctioned off various personal belongings after the bankruptcy of his video game company.

His wife just wants to have her PC console back again. Curt Schilling, who was a rich man some time back, has had his company titled 38 Studios go bankrupt. The perks that come along with celebrity status just flew out the window.

Curt is a baseball legend that even played an entire game while in an injured state. He was a hero until now when the riches and fame seem to have vanished without a trace.

With the bankruptcy issue, Schilling even tried to sell off a blood-stained sock of his in order to be able to pay the utility bills. One of the objects that were sold off included an old computer.

His wife however is very upset and claims that the computer belonged to her. Among the items and memorabilia that are up for grabs /4/be included: chairs,

  • a pair of drums,
  • a golf cart,
  • some decorative stuff,
  • plastic flowers,
  • candles,
  • glassware,
  • dinner table,
  • a bobblehead,
  • DVDs and
  • cutlery.
  • The bone of contention remains the god damn computer. According to Shonda Schilling, who happens to be his wife, it contains personal stuff that she would like to keep away from public scrutiny.

And she hired a lawyer to fight the man who had bought it in the auction. The man claims that the computer was defunct and he had fixed it. Besides the bills incurred in repairing the computer, this poor man had to pay the lawyer’s fee to boot.

Meanwhile, Curt Schilling is in a state of remission from his cancer which he has been suffering from since some time. He is currently underweight and can’t even eat his food properly due to the effects of chemo.

He said that he cannot make it to the court for a hearing concerning his bankrupt company. Schilling contracted mouth cancer probably due to the chewing tobacco he was hooked on.

But he denies the link and says that such a claim is controversial. Whatever the case, Schilling has more things on his mind nowadays than just his health since he has to make a living in order to survive too.
