Dominic Cooper will play Lead in Seth Rogen’s Preacher

Executive Producer, Seth Rogen has announced that Dominic Cooper will play the lead role of Jesse Custer in a series which is titled Preacher.

Dominic Cooper is all set to play Jesse Custer in Preacher. The series is all about a man who puts his mouth where his money is. But he seems to have undergone an existential lapse of faith. He seems to think that there is no God and furthermore deems responsibility to be a fake constraint. 

Cooper takes it upon himself to find God whether it is in the heavens or in the pages of the Bible. He is a man on a mission in search for his Creator. Ruth Negga plays his erstwhile love interest and a vampire albeit a benign one.

She will be by his side every step of the way as he undertakes his epic journey through strange worlds of the mind and soul. And he has a killer who is tracking him down in order to finish the job. Called the Saint of Killers, he is evil through and through. 

There are others who have bit parts in the drama series. Some of them help him while others hinder him. Taken from a 90s series of comic books, the plot is very complex and the narrative is interesting indeed. Cooper has been in Captain America too. He is expected to fulfill his role as a preacher very adroitly when the time comes in this television program.
