This breakthrough innovation by Dynamics Inc. will enable issuers to provide consumers greater card functionality which will include the ability to select applications that are stored directly on the card itself with the assurance that the card is compatible with the existing POS terminals.

Applications include greater security as now the consumers will be able to unlock their account numbers for each purchase with special codes which will help in preventing use after theft.

Greater convenience for consumers as they will now be able to carry both debit and credit accounts on the same card. So the need to carry too many cards has been taken care of.

Moreover greater control for the consumers is also provided as they can now carry both loyalty and credit accounts on the same card and make purchases with their cash or loyalty rewards.

Jeff Mullen is the chief executive officer of Dynamics. He is an inventor of more than 150 pending and issued patents which range from mainstream consumer electronics for Apple, Inc., to children’s electronic toys.

Jeff explained how he designed the first working interactive payment card. He also revealed its current market applications. He also explained that the consumer method of using credit and other payment crards is going to have a radical change. He also said that the company’s partnership with Master Card will aid in creating a global activity of interactive payment cards.

According to the 2013 Federal Reserve Payments Study there were 86 billion card transactions which were conducted in the United States alone in 2012.
