Ellen Pompeo is Not sure about Acting Again

Ellen Pompeo is unlikely to act again after she finishes the last season of Grey’s Anatomy. The news /4/come as a shocker to her fans due to the wide audience that the show has continued to enjoy since it started airing back in 2005. The 44 year old actress told BuzzFeed that she was considering trying something different.

Pompeo was accompanied by Kerry Washington and Viola Davis. In the interview, she pointed out that she no longer has the strong urge to continue in her acting career. She further added that she felt that everything about acting had been exhausted by Grey’s Anatomy and so there was nothing more to offer.

Pompeo plays the role of Meredith Grey in the TV series.When asked about her plans, she said that she did not like being employed by other entrepreneurs because she believes she should be working for self at her age.

The actress ventured into business in 2011 following the launch of her production company registered by the name Calamity Jane production company. Perhaps Pompeo was discouraged by the fact that Grey’s Anatomy received many nominations but did not scoop many awards as expected.

If you thought Pompeo is quitting acting any time soon, you need to think again because she is not yet done. She still has two more seasons to go. At the moment, she is readying herself for season 13. As a matter of fact, Pompeo is not sure whether she will completely retire from acting. She maintained that she can not rule out hitting the screens again because she is not sure of what lies ahead.
