Emma Stone Dumped Andrew Garfield

Sources claim that the starlet dumped Garfield because he was “in a dark place.”

Various sources and magazines have been running stories that Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were on the verge of a break up for quite a few months. Recently, the pair hinted that they were perhaps taking a break while Andrew filmed a movie in London and Emma worked in New York City on the Broadway musical Cabaret with Alan Cumming. However, it has become more and more apparent that the break is not temporary, and is instead the end of one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples.

While publically they will blame crazy filming and acting schedules, sources close to the couple are revealing something a little darker. US Weekly now reports that Emma is actually the one who dumped Andrew, and the break up was not amicable at all. They are saying that Stone, 26, “ended things and moved back to L.A.,” The sources confirmed that, “It’s finished. It’s not just a break.”

The source also reveals that the problem with their relationship /4/have been because Andrew was getting far too deep into the character he will be playing in his latest movie. “He’d been in a dark place for months, getting into his role,” a second insider tells Us of the actor. He has been on an intense workout and eating schedule to prepare for the film. He lost over 40 pounds, which /4/be a contributing factor to his sudden change in personality. The sources confirms, “He wasn’t being the best partner.”

This ends the saga that started with the Spiderman movies, and puts Emma Stone back on the market. Time will tell if the pair is truly over.
