Challenge helps entrepreneurs bring products to market
It has been announced that the Extreme Tech Challenge semi-finals will be taking place in Las Vegas during the International Consumer Electronics Show during the week of January, 6th until January, 9th, 2015. The Extreme Tech Challenge, or XTC for short, is a competition that brings together highly motivated business owners and developers in the ever booming consumer technology industry. Some of the best industry executives in the consumer electronics industry will judge to see what business idea is the best and then start on the road of having that business idea to come to fruition.
The semifinals of the Extreme Tech Challenge will take place at The Venetian in Vegas on January, 8th and will run from 2:00pm until 3:30pm. The XTC Judges Circle will judge 10 semifinalists. The event will broadcast live and one of the judges for the finals will be Virgin Records CEO and founder in Sir Richard Branson. The finals of the Extreme Tech Challenge will take place on Branson’s famed private island on Necker Island. The finals will take place on February 6th, 2015.
Branson, CES 2015 senior vice president Karen Chupka, and MaiTai Global founder Bill Tai have been giving big praises for the Extreme Tech Challenge coming to CES 2015. MaiTai Global will be the ones who are responsible for presenting the Extreme Tech Challenge. Tai has stated that there were over 1,800 entries into the Extreme Tech Challenge and that it is a big accomplishment for the top 10 semi-finalists. Tai pointed out that the huge exposure of more than 150,000 exhibition attendees and over 5,000 press people will help these new hopefuls in getting more and more face time with consumers. Branson added that he is very honored to be a judge for the finals of the Challenge and that he is anticipating hosting the finals at Necker Island.
