Making return after 3 year hiatus from event
Kodak has not been at the International Consumer Electronics Show in three years but the 2015 version will see a return to the event for the iconic company. The publicly traded company has announced that they will be coming to CES 2015 and will be showcasing their newest lines of digital imaging technology and other new technologies such as a newly developed baby monitoring system.
The Chief Marketing Officer of Kodak is Steve Overman and he says that the reason that Kodak is making a return to the International Consumer Electronics Show is that they are looking to expand their brand and start to venture in to newer consumer business and marketing strategies. Some of the new products that Kodak plans on exhibiting at CES 2015 is a new Kodak Smartphone, new and improved digital cameras, new innovative headphones, and a new 360 degree camera. Overman says that Kodak plans to capitalize on their household name and carry that notoriety into the future and beyond.
Kodak’s new baby monitoring system, the CFH-BVA 10, has already been given one of the prestigious CES 2015 Innovation Awards. Kodak will have a kiosk on display at their booth for CES 2015 and it will be there where conference goers will be able to use new Kodak technology which allows for the downloading of photos straight from mobile phones. Some of the other Kodak products that will be on hand for CES 2015 are new batteries and chargers for mobile devices, bigger and better smart drives and flash drives with more storage capacity, and other innovative technologies.
