Frozen Fever Trailer Released

Disney wants to make sure the new Cinderella movie will be huge box office hit by bundling it with a new Frozen short film titled Frozen Fever. Watch the trailer below.

Disney Studio executives came up with an interesting cross promotion for the launch of the new live-action Cinderella movie. A 7-minute Frozen short film will be shown before the Cinderella movie in theaters on March 13.

Frozen was a huge success for Disney and a new franchise was born that dominated the Holiday toys despite the movie being over a year old. The new Frozen Fever short film will definitely motivate Frozen fans to go and see Cinderella. 

Frozen Fever visits the Frozen characters a couple months after the movie ended. Anna has birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are preparing a birthday party. Things start to go wrong as Elsa catches a cold and her powers mess with the preparations.

Frozen premiered on November 27, 2013 in theaters across the nation. According to Wikipedia Frozen cumulated almost $1.3 billion in worldwide box office revenue, $400 million of which was earned in the United States and Canada. Frozen is the highest-grossing animated film of all time and the fifth highest-grossing movie of all time. You know that Frozen is huge when for that general term the Frozen movie is dominating the Google search results.

The new Cinderella movie stars Lily James as Cinderella. Other cast members include Hayley Atwell, Helena Bonham Carter, Richard Madden, Cate Blanchet and Sophie McShera. Cinderella is directed by Kenneth Branagh. The story of Cinderella is follows Disney’s 1950 animated adaptation, with a couple twists. For instance Cinderella and the Prince meet prior to the fateful ball. He would tell her he is a palace employee named Kit. The Fairy Godmother is a larger character than in previous versions, as she is initially disguised as an old beggar who watches over Cinderella before ultimately revealing herself as a magical being.
