Game of Thrones Season 5 premieres in Over 170 Countries Simultaneously

So it was finally decided by the HBO management that they would by premiering the season 5 of the popular Game of Thrones show at the same time around the world.

Many people are happy because of this action as people started posting spoilers around the internet and it was very hard to avoid them as they started to become trending topics. HBO’s fantasy show will debut in more than 170 countries at the same time as the show will be returning for its 5th season.

So now everyone will get to see the show at the same time. Some people who live outside America, have to wait for months before their HBO, shows them the Game of Thrones episodes. So HBO finally decided that everyone around the world will see the new episodes on the same dates.

HBO’s president for Programming said that he was very happy and thrilled that all of their international partners were on board of the plan to bring Game of Thrones which is one of the most loved TV shows in the world to the global audiences at the same time it airs on HBO in the United States.

Michael Lombardo also said that this 5th season is a great one. HBO Asia, HBO Canada, HBO Europe, HBO Netherlands, HBO Nordic and HBO Latin America are all on board. HBO is also launching its new service called the HBO Now service.

The dates of the premiere and the new service are coinciding. HBO Now will be available for users through iTunes and its price has been decided to be $14.99. So previously there was a lack of a standalone app that would provide the users with the instant show.

But now users can use the HBO Now application and they can stream the show. A lack of an application saw many people watch the show illegally through torrents. This show ranks as the most heavily pirated series in the world. Even the show’s Sophie Turner came on a show and said that her brother also downloads the series illegally.
