George Clooney is Not Considering Having Kids With Amal Alamuddin

George Clooney said in an interview that having kids does not seem to be on the top of the list of his priorities but the question keeps getting asked since he got married.

Many were surprised when 54 years old bachelor, George Clooney finally got married but looking at Amal Alamuddin, one could just plain understand that George’s happily ever after happened. Not only is Amal beautiful and graceful, she believes in the same things that George does and what is more, it is her profession. Amal is a human rights lawyer at the UN and a visiting lecturer at Columbia Law College.

It’s been eight months since the couple got married and since then they have appeared to be falling more and more in love with each other. George recently sat down with Charlie Rose of CBS News for an interview.

The interview started with George’s humanitarian activities in Sudan. He elaborated his activities over the previous years. He said that he doesn’t do it for reward, his aim is to do something meaningful in life even with simply participating. He said that what everyone does is simply never not enough, it is a process where you just have to keep giving. 

He also said that what Amal did had greater meaning compared to what he did because what she did do or didn’t actually has great consequences. He appreciated her efforts in her own rights and all the work she does. 

The next question was if Clooneys were thinking about kids in the near future? George said that it is now a frequently asked question since they got married because people automatically assume that kids are the next step after you get married.

It’s just been eight months and he and Amal don’t have having kids on top of their priorities list right now. He said it wasn’t a totally out of the question kind of a topic but not right now.

He admitted that he was a family kind of guy. He is very close with his own family, his father Nick and mother Nina and sister Adelia and his niece and nephew. His nephew was recently named prom king of the same high school George attended and had been rubbing his nose in it cause George wasn’t named when he was there. So George knows the perks and fun of having a family. He and Amal are just not thinking about having kids right now.

He admitted that people have been asking them the same question since they got married and there have been a lot of rumors surrounding it. Some people have even got very creative how they present the situation. He said that they will have a family eventually but not in the near future.
