General Motors has confirmed plans to not run a Super Bowl 2015 commercial, joining a growing list of car makers skipping the Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl 2015 will only have a few Super Bowl car ads. The latest car brand to confirm skipping the Super Bowl is GM. General Motors just came back last year after sitting out the 2013 Super Bowl.

General Motors ran two Super Bowl ads last year. The list of car makers that are not advertising during the Super Bowl 2015 is growing. So far we know that Volkswagen, Jaguar, Lincoln, Honda, Acura and GM are not advertising during the Super Bowl 2015 Ad.

It is safe to say that the number of Car Super Bowl 2015 ads will be much lower than last year.

The confirmed Car Super Bowl 2015 ads include Nissan, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota.

The car makers are making room in the Super Bowl 2015 Ad line-up for 15 newcomers.
