Google Introduces TrueView for Shopping via YouTube Ads

We all want to buy stuff when we look at YouTube ads and now Google has made things easier for us so that we can buy from YouTube ads.

Google is working on something new and now they want you to buy things while you are watching those endless YouTube videos. Google launched a new program on Thursday with YouTube ads. This new feature will let customers buy items from pre-roll ads and they can simply click on the ads.

Those ads were trying to make us buy stuff and now we will follow through. We never buy things we like in YouTube ads and now we will be helped by Google. You will see that some advertisers will have buttons within the ad which will be pointing out to specific offers.

The users will be getting images and prices for items. This information will be coming through the Google Merchant Center. Let’s suppose that you are watching an ad for Levi’s T-shirts. As you will be watching the ad, you will see a link that will point out that this specific shirt costs $12 and here is the link to buy it.

When you click on the link, it will take you to the advertiser’s website. There you will be able buy the shirt. Now let us suppose you see another ad from some company and it has a new deal with a lot to offer for very less money.

You will be able to go to the advertiser’s website and there you can take advantage of that deal. Ads are placed very strategically. If you are watching videos about clothes, then you will get ads about clothes and if you are watching videos about soccer, then you will get ads regarding soccer shoes.

Now the users will get these new ads in their mobile YouTube apps and even in their tablets. A home goods retailer Wayfair said that there was as much as three times increase in their sales after this new YouTube ads strategy.
