Google Photos Launched

Google has launched Google Photos Today at the Google I/O 2015.

The rumored Google Photos service is official. Google Photos is a new, standalone offering that gives consumers a home for all their photos and videos. Google Photos helps to organize and bring moments to life, and lets you share and save what matters.

Google Photos gives consumers a single, private place to keep a lifetime of memories, and access them from any device. They’re automatically backed up and synced, so users can have peace of mind that their photos are safe, available across all your devices.

Google really means lifetime of memories. With Google Photos, consumers can now backup and store unlimited, high-quality photos and videos, for free. Google maintains the original resolution up to 16MP for photos. Google is offering unlimited storage for photos.

Google Photos will be available later today across Android, iOS and the web.

Google Plus is a freeby from Google to keep users glued to Google and close to getting exposed to Google Ads.
