The tablet is priced at $1024 and you’ll have to sign up from Google’s website to be able to get your hands on one.

Google’s Tango project has remained under discussion since quite some time. Since much of this discussion has been in the past, we would just recap a little bit about the project. So apparently this Tango is going to work with specialized devices which would run on Android and they would track 3D objects and spaces in real-time. Not only that, it will also generate a vital map of all this data which of course is going to serve multiple purposes.

If we remember when this Tango project was first announced, only one device was used internally for testing by Google. But now the company is rolling out a new tablet which is going to be exclusively designed to facilitate the developers who can buy these and work on the project. This new tablet will be called the Project Tango Tablet Development Kit and this is the second device after the Xiaomi MiPad which will run on NVIDIA’s powerful new Tegra K1 SoC. The tablet is going to sport a 7 inch display and we still haven’t got any clue on the resolution. Other primary features include 4GB of RAM, 128GB storage space, motion tracking camera, integrated depth sensor and 4G LTE connectivity. But this entire experience is going to be quite costly (which we already suspected); the tablet is priced at $1024 and you’ll have to sign up from Google’s website to be able to get your hands on one.
