Hannibal Season 3 set to Premiere on June 4

The summer line up for shows and dramas was announced by NBC and Hannibal gets it’s third season on Thursday nights from June 4th.

It is always a creepy moment when the next season of any show is yet to be announced. There is a fifty-fifty chance that the show might be on time, it might get delayed or just get cancelled altogether. The relief came in last night for all the fans of the occult drama series Hannibal.

Following from the 1991 hit movie, Silence of the Lambs; the movie features Hugh Dancy as FBI Investigator Will Graham and Mads Mikkelsen as Dr. Hannibal Lecter. The story for the show has been inspired by Thomas Harris’ novels Red Dragon and Hannibal. The show has provided Dr. Lecter with a new origin story.

For the first season, Graham is charged with solving a series of murders while Lecter is called in on the case as an expert all the while he tracks his moves with eerie precision. The second season ended in an intense finale making the fans squirm for answers. It would not be wrong to say that the fans were waiting for this season anxiously.

NBC announced the summer line up and although the day has been changed, it is nothing but relief that the show is back with yet another thrilling season. The show has been removed from its Friday night grave spot in the line up and has been moved to Thursday nights.

Its partnering show, Aquarius will also be premiering one week subsequent on 28th March with double episodes. Hannibal will premiere in the next hour in the next week. The show will premiere on the network on June 4th.

Unscripted and American Ninja Warrior will bow out of the network’s line up on Monday, /4/25th giving the new shows sufficient space and time to premiere with full grandeur. America’s Got Talent also succeeded in acquiring yet another season on the Network. 

This season, Hannibal is experimenting with cast remix. Joe Anderson, Richard Armitage; Nina Arianda, Rutina Wesley and Glenn Fleshler will be the new stars on the show this season while Zachary Quinto will be making a guest appearance an confirmed earlier. The promo for the newest season is out for the fans, who are waiting anxiously for the new season to start off.
