The Hasty Pudding’s 2015 Man of the Year Award for 2015 went to none other than the inimitable Chris Pratt.
The Hasty Pudding Theatricals happen to be the oldest such organization in the United States of America. It recently decided to give away the Man of the Year Award for 2015 to Chris Pratt.
Chris is a truly amazing actor who made it big in Tinsel Town. He started off slowly in side roles but soon enough was the star of two of the biggest movies of the season. His costar Amy Poehler also became the Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year for 2015. So that makes a fine pair.
The Hasty Pudding Awards are given to individuals who have made a lasting contribution to the acting profession and have really left behind a good impression on audiences everywhere. And Amy and Chris did that in scads.
As an entertainer, Chris is simply unbeatable. The Man of the Year Award began being given away each year in 1963. Its past receivers include among their ranks such notaries and luminaries as: Clint Eastwood, Tom Cruise, Robert de Niro, Harrison Ford, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Bruce Willis, Justin Timberlake and Neil Patrick Harris.
February 6th is the date set for presenting the award. Chris Pratt will be given his Pudding Pot. It will be a festive occasion and there will be entertainment for everyone at the event.
A rendition of “Oops!…Madrid It Again!” will get covered too much to the delight of the crowds that will be there to celebrate in the name of the entertainment profession.
Chris Pratt deserves only praise for his theatrical performances and he knows his stuff like the back of his hand. In fact, he could accomplish his job with one hand tied behind his back. The man has talent, fame and fortune.
In the capacity of Andy Dwyer in Park & Recreation, Chris showed the world what he had in terms of chutzpah and good choice. Now he will be appearing in Jurassic World.
He was Star-Lord in the top-grossing movie titled Guardians of the Galaxy. And he also lent his voice to the character of Emmett in The Lego Movie which raked in $400 million.
Chris is smart and suave. He has a manner of classic cool chic and is known to take it all in a stride…the good with the bad. He definitely deserves to be the Man of the Year for 2015.
