Hilary Duff Gets Back in the Saddle after Settlement of Her Divorce

Hilary Duff talked to the Cosmopolitan magazine accompanied by a photoshoot featuring the former child star after her divorce from her five-year marriage from Mike Comrie.

Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie were married for five years and had a son together named Luca. For a while, Hilary has been the most stable and looked up to star of her generation while her fellow actresses have gone down to ruins such as Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes.

Hilary married Mike in 2010 in a beautiful ceremony and it looked to be a fairytale like ‘happily ever after’ for the former Disney star, the home of the princesses but fairytales aren’t meant to last forever and Hilary’s seems to be coming to an end too.

Hilary and Mike separated last year in January and last month, Hilary finally filed for a divorce. Hilary is not giving up on life yet. She is ready to get back to work once the divorce has been finalized. Hilary started by doing a photoshoot and an interview for Cosmopolitan.

The photoshoot features Hilary in sexy denim booty shorts and leather black jacket and the other features her in a powder pink halter top with a white lace skirt. The star accompanied the photoshoot with an interview.

In the interview, Hilary talked about her divorce. Hilary kept the facts to the point and didn’t make it dramatic proving how she is still the most composed actress of her time. She said that the she has been very much in love with Mike when she had met him.

She had been working since she was 11 years old and she felt that she was old enough to make the decision of her marriage by herself. It was a good relationship for a long while but they both found out eventually that relationships aren’t meant to last forever and they came to a point where they could not be together any more.

According to her, he has been very cooperative and understanding through the whole process. They have indeed come to a point where they can’t be together any more as they are not the same couple they once were but there is still a lot of love involved in their relationship concerning Luca. Where Hilary has asked for sole custody of the child, she admits that Mike loves their son very much and they are working together to make their divorce work.

Hilary was spotted on a morning hike with Luca and anyone could see that the actress is very committed towards taking care of her son by herself. The first step is Hilary earning again. She is going to be starring in the newest comedy Younger alongside Sutton Foster which will be hitting the TV screens on March 31st
