The HBO show Last Week Tonight with John Oliver has some other ideas. They propose Frank Sinatra Day for instance. Watch the funny, but as always informative, Columbus Day – How is that still a thing video that has been just released below. It tells you all what is wrong with Columbus Day in 2 minutes and 40 seconds. The video is accompanied with the message: “Christopher Columbus did a lot of stuff that was way more terrible than “sailing the ocean blue,” but we don’t learn about that.”

The Canadian’s are much smarter. They already celebrate Thanksgiving Day today.
