HP Pro x2 612 is a detachable PC

The HP Pro x2 612 is HP’s first detachable PC.

The show is not yet over for HP. After announcing a slew of notebooks this week, HP announced more computer devices today. The first one is the HP Pro x2 612 which is HP’s first commercial detachable PC.

It features a 12.5-inch display and it is powered by Intel Core i3/ i5 processors. The HP Pro x2 612 also has two batteries (one in the tablet and another in the keyboard), providing up to 14 hours of battery life.

The detachable keyboard also includes VGA support, RJ-45, DisplayPort, two USB 3.0 ports and side docking connector for optional HP UltraSlim dock. There’s also an optional Wacom pen with built-in holder.

Furthermore, the tablet has an HD webcam and a fingerprint reader that keeps the device secure. Other nifty features includes HP BIOS, HP Client Security, HP Sure Start, Smart Card Reader, and HP TPM.

The HP Pro x2 612 will be available in September. Pricing has yet to be announced.
