An Android powerhouse, the HP SlateBook PC is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 4 mobile processor.
HP has just announced its first ever Android-powered notebook. While HP isn’t new to Android, the company has yet to launch a 14-inch notebook running the mobile operating system.

While Chromebooks have the upperhand in terms of Google’s productivity apps, running Android means that the notebook has access to over a million applications on Google Play. Plus, Android fans might want to use their favorite apps and games on a larger screen. This is where the SlateBook fits in.
Powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 4 quad-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz, the HP SlateBook will hit the market on July 20 for $429.99.
Other features include a 2GB DDR3L SDRAM, up to 64GB of internal storage, a front-facing VGA camera, Beats Audio quad speakers, SuperSpeed USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. HP says that the SlateBook can last up to 9 hours.
