HTC One M9 is the Name of the New Flagship Smartphone to be unveiled ahead of MWC 2015

It was previously thought that the name of the new HTC flagship would be the HTC One (M9) but now a leaked source code and screen shot of HTC’s website has reflected that the new flagship phone would be called the HTC One M9 which is going to be unveiled on March 1st ahead of MWC 2015.

There was some misunderstanding and many people thought that the name of the new HTC flagship would be the HTC One (M9) but now leaked source code and screen shot of HTC website has reflected that the new flagship phone would be called the HTC One M9 which is going to be unveiled on March 1st ahead of MWC 2015.

So the new HTC flagship will be called the HTC One M9 and not HTC One (M9). The company will be using a new slogan One Life which would be used to promote the new HTC One M9. 

PhoneArena first posted source code of HTC’s website that confirmed that the new flagship would be called the HTC One M9.  The website’s source code had a line called the Product Title which followed with the name HTC One M9. The source code had another line Product Tagline which said One Life. 

HTC also posted a promotional tweet on its official twitter account and this tweet is about HTC’s upcoming flagship device that carries the #OneLife hashtag. See tweet below.

PhoneArena again confirmed the official name and slogan  by posting a leaked product thumbnail of HTC’s next flagship device. Actually a screen shot of HTC website’s test posting was grabbed before it was taken down. And as you can see below, this screen shot clearly shows the name would be HTC One M9 and underneath the name of the phone we can see the slogan of the phone which is One Life. 

The flagship is due to be launched on 1st March in Barcelona at MWC. According to latest rumors on the Internet, the device will have a 5” display with Full HD resolution. This is a 64-bit phone which will have a 2GHz Snapdragon 810 CPU. The phone will come with 3GB of RAM. You can buy the 32GB or 64GB versions of the phone. The back camera is 20.7MP whereas the front will be 4MP UltraPixel camera. The phone will have a big battery of 2840mAh. 

The phone will come equipped with Android L and will also have the latest HTC Sense 7. Some people are speculating that the phone’s screen resolution would be 1440 x2560 but we will have to wait and see as every last bit of information will be released in the upcoming weeks.
