The new version of Sense seems very much inspired by Google’s Material Design paradigm

Android 5.0 Lollipop is just about to get released by Google and it is already creating restlessness among the device makers who are busy working on tweaking their own UI overlays to better fit the latest iteration of the mobile OS. Thanks to a couple of leaks, we have got an idea about how the Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy S5 would end up looking like and this time its HTC’s turn. Thanks to a few leaked pictures, we can see what HTC’s Sense 7 is going to appear on the screen.

The screenshots have been taken from an HTC One (M8) which is running on the new software which is likely to come along with its upgrade to Lollipop at some point in time. HTC has claimed that the HTC One M8 would get the Android 5.0 Lollipop within three months’ time of when Google will finalize the bits. It is expected that the company could opt for issuing an OS update still working with the current Sense 6, then followed by a Sense update later on.

Anyhow, talking about the new version of Sense, it looks like it has been widely inspired by the Material Design paradigm of Google which is nothing but good news. We are also hopeful that some other manufacturers will also adopt traces of the new design philosophy, bringing some fresh-looking new UIs to the table.
