HTC One Next-Gen to Come in March

HTC is reportedly planning to launch the next generation of its HTC One smartphone with bigger screen and twin-sensor rear camera by the end of March 2014.

HTC is said to be working on a larger variant of HTC One smartphone that will reportedly be launched in late March 2014. The next-generation HTC One smartphone will be launched under the same brand name of HTC One but with a larger screen of at least 5 inches and twin-sensor rear camera. The device is code-named “M8”. It is also speculated that new HTC One smart phone can be called HTC One+ instead of HTC 2.

The design of new HTC One smartphone will have some changes as compared to its current model. It is rumored that the new HTC One will have a display screen of 5-inches or more. Taiwan-based HTC is already selling a larger HTC One Max with a 5.9-inch screen. And the current HTC One display is 4.7-inches in size. The display size of the next generation of HTC One is likely to range between these sizes. 

Other rumored specs of the device /4/include a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or Snapdragon 805 processor,  Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, 3GB RAM, fingerprint scanner, uni-body metal housing and latest version of HTC Sense.

The new HTC One flagship device is also said to come with a twin-sensor Ultra-pixel camera at the rear end. And HTC is also going to add the improved Ultra-pixel camera. The twin sensors on the rear camera will likely lend the device better focus, depth of field and overall image quality.

HTC has declined to comment on this matter.
