Huawei TalkBand B2 will be available at the end of this week for $180

Huawei took the curtains off its second generation of TalkBand at Mobile World Congress . TalkBand B2, is what Huawei calls it, is now integrated with the Jawbone UP technology and is now smarter than before. Apart from functionality, features and efficient performance, its pretty sporty and is beautifully crafted.

The TalkBand B2 will detect the user’s movements on its own, which means that whatever you are doing either cycling, running or walking, it will track your movement and will calculate how many calories you have burned. Thanks to the Jawbone UP integration, you can personalize the gadget with different apps. Beware, you might find it very difficult to choose what apps to pair it with as there are over 3000 supported apps that you can get for TalkBand B2.

TalkBand B2 comes with a Bluetooth headset as well and with the Bluetooth you can pair it with your devices running Android 4.0 or above and iOS 7.0. The fitness tracking device from Huawei is dust proof and water resistant and provides 5 days of battery life, claims Huawei. The Huawei TalkBand B2 will be available in black and white sports versions and also a gold tone leather variant as well. It will be priced in the US at mere $180 and will be available by the end of the week.
