- Etron Technology will exhibit new “ThingCapture” ICs and platform including the “OK360” (Object Kapture 360°) machines at the International CES 2015.
Etron’s new technology will be able to capture, store and re-create physical objects and will be seen at the CES 2015.
The advanced technology of today and the integration of technology such as electronics, semiconductors, sensors and 3D printing have finally allowed companies to create a breakthrough new recording technology.
This new innovative product is called OK360 (Object Kapture 360). Etron Technology’s R&D team has developed this new 360 degree technology which basically generates lifelike virtual reality environments, capturing and re-creating 3D objects. This new technology will be displayed at the CES 2015 in Las Vegas next week.
So finally after many years of research and development companies are now able to provide people with affordable personal electronic devices which can capture experiences and things to be savored again in the future.
This technology has been able to reach us finally due to the hard work and leadership of Dr. Lu, Samuel, Dr. Wu and Dr. Lin. These people have led Etron Technology’s teams in Taiwan and the USA to finally develop and introduce this technology to the world.
Dr. Lu stated that this breakthrough is great both for Etron and the consumers. Etron will now have exciting new products to show the world and the users will be given a great way to ensure that their experiences and memories stay with them forever.
He also expressed his desire that he would like to see global technology experts to carry out their research and development in this field. The doctor then explained that their company’s new ‘ThingCapture’ technology will provide the users the ability to digitize objects in 3D and then through 3D printing to re-create those objects.
He also said that this technology is a great application that can be added to the four major trends, ‘Internet of Things’, ‘Scan & Print’, ‘Big Data’ and ‘Wearables’. Finally the consumers have an affordable product to capture physical items in 3D and to save and re-create them.
Etron’s new ‘ThingCapture’ technology can be viewed and experienced on YouTube and Facebook. Moreover Etron will be displaying this new technology at its booth at the CES 2015. So visitors at the CES 2015 would be able to grasp this new technology.
