The feud between Julianna Margulies and another cast member /4/derail the show.

Fans of the show “The Good Wife” /4/have noticed that things seemed a bit…off during Archie Panjabi’s last scene on the show. It took place at a bar, and many fans noticed that the background seemed pixelated, the conversation was stilted, and the actors weren’t looking at each other – and with good reason: apparently Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi didn’t film the scene together.

Were things that bad that the two actresses couldn’t even stay in the same room together?

It seems like that /4/be the case, Panjabi sort of confirmed to US Weekly:

“You know, I can’t answer that. It’s not fair for me to answer those decisions. As much as I want to. But those decisions are made by the producers. I’m not privy to those decisions. All I do know is I’m very grateful to the Kings for making the decision to cast me.”

There have been rumors about the two co-stars not getting along for quite some time, and those whispers have only gotten louder as the years have crept by. Still, Panjabi’s character was one of the favorites of fans, and she will be sorely missed from the show. Some fans even went as far as to say that the writers were mimicking real life when they wrote the storylines for the characters. That might just be true, because on-screen, the tension between the characters has been obvious for some time. Alicia (Margulies) and her lead investigator Kalinda’s (Panjabi) friendship was never able to be repaired once Alicia discovered that her cheating and somewhat slimy husband (played by Sex and the City alum Chris Noth) had an affair with her former best friend.
