The new iPad Air 2 has started to ship. The iPad Air 2 reviews of the tech pundits praise the iPad Air 2, but it is more evolutionary than revolutionary. The iPad Air 2 is taking the iPad to new performance heights and slimmed it down to 6.1 mm. The new iPad Air 2 features an improved Retina display for enhanced contrast and richer, more vibrant colors, and better cameras for taking stunning photos and videos. Available in gold, silver and space gray, the new iPad Air 2 offer Touch ID so users can unlock their iPad with just the touch of a finger and make purchases easily and securely within apps using Apple Pay.
iFixit is granting us a hi-res look inside the iPad Air 2 now in their iPad Air 2 Teardown. To fit everything in 6.1mm thin case everything has to be organized neatly. While the iPad Air 2 is again a a beauty inside, the repairability score is really low. iFixit gives it a 2 out of 10. iPad Air 2 with Wi-Fi models is available for a suggested retail price of $499 for the 16GB model, $599 for the 64GB model and $699 for the 128GB model. iPad Air 2 with Wi-Fi + Cellular models will be available for a suggested retail price of $629 for the 16GB model, $729 for the 64GB model and $829 for the 128GB model. iPad mini 3 with Wi-Fi models will be available for a suggested retail price of $399 for the 16GB model, $499 for the 64GB model and $599 for the 128GB model. iPad mini 3 with Wi-Fi + Cellular models will be available for a suggested retail price of $529 for the 16GB model, $629 for the 64GB model and $729 for the 128GB model.
