China’s major carriers; China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom, have processed around 10 million pre-orders, with JD.com reporting to have received 9.5 million orders.
the pre orders for the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus have reached 20 million in a short while. And after the performance of Apple’s latest smartphone, we are the least bit surprised at what the duo has managed to achieve in the Chinese market as well. However, the iPhone 6 hasn’t stopped to surprise us and as you are reading these words, the number of the orders will continue to rise. Considering the size of the country and the population it yields, we were expecting such a turnout from a market which has undeniable interest in the Apple products.
The reservations reached 4 million a week ago but the recent data collected from the Chinese mobile carriers and the Jingdong Mall, China’s e-commerce website, shows that there were over 20 million pre orders for the device. The major carriers in China including China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom have reportedly processed around 10 million pre orders. According to JD.com, they received 9.5 million orders for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Out of these 9.5 million, 4.7 million pre-orders were for the iPhone 6 and 4.8 million were for the larger iPhone 6 Plus. One thing is surprising that so far Apple hasn’t commented on the pre orders and there hasn’t been a word from any of the 6,000 sellers in the country.
