iPhone 6S to feature a 2K display

According to a Chinese blog, Apple will be offering a 2K display in its next iPhone

We probably hear most number of rumors about iPhone every year than about any other Smartphone. Thats because the excitement is very high and it even gets better as September approaches. Everybody wants to know what is going to be in the next iPhone and what will be the changes and improvements. Today’s rumor is just part of it, but has some information that a lot of users would want to see in the next iPhone. According to a report published earlier in a Chinese blog, the new iPhone will likely feature an upgraded display .

The report claims that the iPhone 6S will probably feature a 4.7 inch 1080p display while iPhone 6S Plus will sport a 5.5 inch 2K resolution display. That will be a great upgrade considering the latest models of the iPhone feature 1334 x 750 and 1920 x 1080 resolutions. If this comes out to be true, Apple will surely make a lot of its fans and potential buyers very happy. Another thing that report hinted at was that the iPhone 6S models will come with 64GB as base storage and there will be no 16 GB models. Apple with the launch of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus ditched 32GB model and replaced it with the 64GB options without increasing the price.

If the reports are to be believed, it seems like Apple is trying to stay up with the competition as the Android flagships are now gearing up for 4K displays. Earlier there were reports hinting that Samsung Note 5 will feature a 2k display and will be sold in 32 GB storage option. Its still very early to say about either of the companies, but if that happens it would be interesting to see how these two device do in the market.
