Is Spider-Man Our Latest Avenger?

In the upcoming books released by Marvel Comics, we see Spider-Man with some of the characters from The Avengers. But it is recently decided that Spider-Man is going to team up with Captain America and Iron Man for upcoming Marvel films.

Spider-Man had five standalone movies. Now he will be teaming up with the Iron Man and Captain America. Since 2012, Spider-Man has already released two movies which are called The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider Man 2. Whereas Iron Man has released 3 standalone movies and Captain America had 2 movies. 

The collaborative deal between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment is signed on Monday night which will see Spider-Man take part in both Disney and Marvel’s Cinematic Universe (MCU). 

So firstly we will see Spider-Man act for the Marvel film and after that he will get his next solo feature for Sony Pictures Entertainment’s $4 billion Spider-Man franchis ewhich will arrive in theaters on 28th July 2017. 

The movie will be produced by former Sony studio head Amy Pascal and Marvel Studio president Kevin Feige. Amy Pascal loves the Spider-Man character and she really knows how to get the best out of him. 

Kevin said that Marvel will make sure that the movie is wonderful. He also said that Marvel had a very creative team and that team will continue to bring the creativity to these action movies. 

Marvel and Sony Pictures are also planning to integrate characters from the MCU into future Spider-Man films. Kevin said that he is excited for the Spider-Man appearance in the MCU. 

Andrew Garfield played the Amazing Spider-Man movies but it is still unclear who will be playing Spider-Man once the movie is set for production. But whoever is going to be the next Spider-Man, one thing is for sure, they have never shared screen time with Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans. 

Chris Evans is working in another Captain America movie called Captain America: Civil War. The work on the movie has started and the movie is set for a release date of /4/6, 2016. 

After Spidey’s collaboration, he will again have a solo movie in 2017. So now this means that Marvel is going to have to change a lot of their movie release dates. It is going to cost Marvel a lot of money to make all of these action movies but then again they earn a lot from these movies too. 

Sony has made five Spider-man movies and out of those five movies, they have earned more than $4 billion so we can easily say they will again earn billions in the upcoming years.

And soon after the announcement of partnership with Sony, Marvel has also announced to change the release date of 4 of its films. Marvel Cinematic Universe’s 4 future installments that have received new release dates through 2019 include Thor’s next solo film and also the first films for Black Panther, Captain Marvel and the Inhumans!

Marvel announced that “Thor: Ragnarok” will now hit theaters on November 3, 2017.  And next year, Marvel will release “Black Panther” on July 6, 2018. Marvel will also release another film in same year. “Captain Marvel” will be released on November 2, 2018. Finally, Marvel will release “Inhumans” in theaters on July 12, 2019.

However, the release dates for Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” and “Avengers: Infinity War Part 2” will remain same. These movies are set to hit theaters on /4/4, 2018 and /4/3, 2019, respectively.
