James Franco Will Teach How to Act and Direct Movies

The Academy award-winning actor has announced to teach film class this fall at Studio 4

For all those who ever dreamed of working with James Franco, this is a really big opportunity.

The 37-year old actor and filmmaker announced it on Tuesday  Instagram that he will teach film class this fall and the enrolled students will be given an opportunity to work on 3 fully financed feature films. The announcement was made in a very odd manner by posting a shirtless picture of himself and showing off the tattoos on the body.

James Franco will teach at Studio 4, a film and acting school which was founded by James Franco himself, and is based in Los Angeles and New York. The school offers courses in acting, directing and screenwriting and also provides a chance to become a part of the creative projects envisioned by James Franco.

It also offers guest lectures from the well-known professionals of the industry. The school not only train students but also gives them an opportunity to showcase their talent in front of James Franco. From Studio 4, students learn the technique of acting as well as how to create their own films based on the learning from the school.

This is not the first time, Franco has taking on the role of a teacher. He has previously taught feature filmmaking and production courses in New York University and University of Southern California as well as a course in screenwriting in University of California. Academy award-nominated actor posses so many degrees which is a bit unique thing being a film actor. He has a B.F.A. in English from the University of California, M.F.A. in writing from Brooklyn College and Colombia University and M.F.A. in film from Tisch School of Arts.
