The Fall actor admitted while giving an interview for the Notebook magazine that he apologized to Dakota prior to shooting the sexual scenes especially if they were of heinous nature.
It’s not an easy feat to commit to playing a sexually explicit billionaire. It /4/look lusty and glitzy on screen but the actors of the movie Fifty Shades of Grey based on the hit book series by E.L. James were not entirely ok while shooting the more sexually heinous scenes of the movie. Jamie Dornan playing the role of the bondage/submission crazed billionaire in the movie is a married man and a father to a little girl.
While promoting the movie, he gave an interview to Notebook magazine recently in which he admitted that it became extremely uncomfortable shooting the sex scenes especially the ones which were particularly ‘heinous’ in nature. He has admitted that he prepared for his role by attending dominant/submissive sessions in the dungeons while he left his wife and daughter at home.
He felt the pressure of inflicting the heinous acts on Dakota during the shoot and he apologized to her prior to shooting the scenes and told her he wasn’t enjoying doing those things to her. Dakota told sources later that Jamie got through those hard time by joking around. It is clear that the actors supported each other during this experience where both of them were as exposed as the next person and they were both in it together.
While Dakota didn’t particularly mind being sexually dominated on screen, she said she wouldn’t love her family to see what she has done. She said that the nude and sexual scenes are beautiful to watch in movies if done tastefully.
She is very confident about her nudity and doesn’t mind baring it all. Still, when your family is full of Hollywood veterans and your parents are well still working and well regarded in the industry, you have to hesitate about what their reactions would be seeing their daughter nude on the scene, blindfolded and being a billionaire’s elusive object of pleasure.
