After the death of Joan Rivers, the name of Kathy Griffin emerged as a strong contender. However, NeNe Leakes can also be the new host of ‘Fashion Police’.

A new season of the E! Show ‘Fashion Police‘ is coming up next year. Joan Rivers‘ daughter Melissa Rivers confirmed that the show will continue after the death of her mother. She sent her best wishes for the new season of the E! Show.

However, it will not be an easy thing for anyone to replace the legendary comedian Joan Rivers on ‘Fashion Police’. But the E! Network is said to have a list of contenders that could replace Joan Rivers after her death.

The name of the comedian Kathy Griffin, a long-time friend of the late Joan Rivers, is on the top of the list, according to The Hollywood Reporter. And the 53-year-old comedian might be the one we would see hosting ‘Fashion Police’ next year.

However, the host’s name has not yet been finalized. NeNe Leakes’ name is also there on the list of possible replacements for Joan Rivers, according to Perez Hilton

E! has other names on its list. But the network is not in a hurry to select the next host of the show. Joan Rivers died on September 4th. And the network does not want to take any decision regarding her replacement so early since Rivers died just 21 days ago.

Also, E! has plenty of time left for the premier of the new season of ‘Fashion Police.’ The new season premier of the show is set to air on January 12, 2015. Hence, the network has so much time left to find a new host who will replace Joan Rivers.
