John Travolta Kissing Scarlett Johansson Is Only Oscars 2015 Scandal

The Oscars 2015 had no scandal and so the media had to pick up every small moment that could be blown up to be a scandal to feed the social media herd.

The Oscars 2015 hosted by Neil Patrick Harris had no unforgettable moments. It was a dull affair that only got broken up by the somewhat surprising win of Birdman for Best Picture. Neil Patrick Harris was not at his best and his Oscar-prediction joke annoyed. The multi-talented Oscar host hoped for a Scandal, he said on a phone conference with media a couple days before the Oscars. He was right. Without a scandal the Oscars are rather boring.

A red carpet moment between John Travolta and Scarlett Johansson was blown up to be the Oscars most awkward moment. Due to lack of a real scandal this is what had to make due. John Travolta surprised Johansson with a kiss on the cheek on the red carpet. Scarlett looked like she gives him the side-eye, but it is more a mixture of her focusing on the cameras and the surprise.

We got pictures that show John Travolta and Scarlett Johansson hugging and laughing back stage at the Oscars. There is no tension. Both actors worked together already a decade ago in the movie A Love Song for Bobby Long. The positive side of the supposed Scarlett Johansson scandal is that it drives attention to Johansson stunning looks at the Oscars. Her new short punk inspired hair style and the green gown are a perfect match.

Scarlett Johansson is back in the public eye after she gave birth to her first child last year. Her big movie of 2015 will be Avengers: Age of Ultron where she will be back as Black Widow. In 2016 she is already confirmed as the voice of Kaa in a remake of the Jungle Book and in the new Captain America movie titled Civil War. 2017 is set to be also exciting with Scarlett Johansson appearing in Ghost in the Shell. This project will has the full attention of geeks around the world as this movie is based on the legendary anime Ghost in the Shell.

The second supposedly embarrassing moment was about Jennifer Aniston touching Emma Stone’s butt. Both actresses hugged each other exaggerated. If you see the whole series of photos you can imaging that a hand can slip lower than Aniston might have wanted. Again no scandal there. See the photos.

The Oscars 2015 are over and there is not much to talk about on Monday around the water cooler unless there is an incident that has not ben revealed yet.
