Joni Mitchell is Not in Coma

Joni Mitchell is Not in Coma… conservatorship given to Leslie Morris due to 24 hour care decisions!

Previously TMZ broke the news Joni Mitchell is in a coma and completely unresponsive, therefore her conservatorship is being handed over to Leslie Morris. Leslie Morris has been a close friend of Joni Mitchell for 44 years and in the absence of any family Morris was asked by Joni to assume the role in case Joni fell sick.

TMZ also related Joni is still unconscious and unable to respond, and there is no hope of recovery. The documents shown by TMZ to make the claims said Joni is unconscious in the hospital and unable to make responses so she needs help in making personal decisions. 

However Leslie Morris just posted a long message on the official website of Joni Mitchell called WeLoveYouJoni.com. In the post Morris refutes the rumors that Joni is in a coma and all the rumors circulating on the internet are false.

Morris revealed Joni is still in the hospital but she comprehends the situation and can use all her senses to remain alert.  Morris also shared a complete recovery is expected at the time and the documents only give her authority to take 24 hour care of Joni in  the absence of doctors by a long-time friend. The message then proclaimed Joni is a strong willed woman and she will not give up the fight. Fans were asked to write their support and well wishes on the website for Joni.   

Joni Mitchell was rushed to the hospital on the 31st of March from her home in L.A. after she was found unconscious in her bathroom. The singer of the hit song ‘Big Yellow Taxi’ still remains in the UCLA Medical Center since her arrival about a month and a half ago.
