Justin Timberlake is a Jack of all trades. He even is founder of a Tequila brand and goes all in promoting it with a hilarious commercial where he plays a lime.
Where does Justin Timberlake find the time to be a performer, dad and Tequila brand founder? Justin Timberlake is the founder of Sauza 901 Tequila and he is very involved including staring in an epic commercial as a lime. The video tells the story of the rise and fall of limes as chaser for tequila. Apparently Sauza 901 tastes so great, it does not need a lime. Clearly there are many tequilas that do not need a lime, but Timberlake’s ad deserves credit for making this point in the most hilarious way possible.
In the 3 minute ad Justin Timberlake is a Lime named Rick “Saur” Vane telling the story about how limes fell out of favor. The make up is fantastic. Watch the full Sauza 901 ad below. A short version will air on TV.
Justin Timberlake also published a video where he apologizes to limes for the smoothness of his Sauza 901 Tequila. Timberlake says in the video: “We wish nothing but the best for limes and hope they continue to thrive as one of the most successful citrus fruits of all time.”
Justin Timberlake started in the Disney Club as a kid and became known world-wide as member of the boy band NSYNC. After NSYNC he became an successful solo artist and actor. He married Jessica Biel in 2012 and the couple got their first child in April.
