Kanye West rejected Apple's partnership offer

The deal was worth millions of dollars and was probably related to the Apple Watch

Nike and Adidas are just two big names on Kanye West’s business partnership list and apple could have been one too if West had agreed to the partnership worth millions of dollars. According to The New York Times‘ T Magazine, the singer turned down this partnership with the Cupertino giant. The guru of hip-hop himself mentioned the offer lightly during a meeting being held with a group of designers and while everyone was listening on to what the singer’s goals were in terms of his fashion business, he briefly let out a few details.

It appears to be quite obvious that the deal would be the collaboration of West’s line with the upcoming Beats Music/iTunes relaunch but there are no specific details on this offer so we cannot say this is entirely true. However, a lot of reports have been revealing that Apple’s Jimmy Iovine (a Beats co-founder) is directing his efforts towards Tidal’s roster of artist-owners to the streaming option. We aren’t sure that Apple would want to stick to the exclusive releases because trying that last year with the U2 release didn’t quite prove to be a success.

Apple Watch being portrayed as a fashion accessory and Kanye West being well recognized into the fashion world seems quite the obvious link. Some have claimed that there were possibilities that Apple was thinking about taking help for more Apple Watch designs but whatever it was has now been put to rest.
