Kanye West first abandons Tidal music project he helped launch with pal Jay-Z. But now he again posts a tweet to support Tidal.

Kanye West has apparently abandoned his long-time pal and business partner Jay-Z. Tidal is a music streaming application which was bought by the music mogul Jay-Z and launched a month ago with the help of his pals including Kanye West.

Previously Kanye West and tweeted multiple times in support of Tidal streaming service but as of yesterday it seems West is abandoning the project.

On Wednesday evening Kanye West deleted all of his previous tweets about Tidal and even changed his Twitter display picture from the Tidal logo to a fantasy avatar from a My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

The rapper apparently removed all mentions of the music streaming app he launched with his pal Jay-Z from his Twitter account. The change of support from Kanye West comes as Tidal falls out of the 700 top iPhone apps chart and its rival Spotify surges up on the chart.

According to the Los Angeles Times the future of Tidal seems bleak as it does not have free alternatives for users and West definitely took some pointers.

Things got interesting yesterday when a few hours later Kanye tweeted his support for Tidal again after having deleted all the original tweets.

West shared a picture of the logo of Tidal along with the caption which described the love of music, however it was a little too late as Kanye became the butt off all jokes on the social media for his abandonment of Tidal and then renewed support within a few hours.

West recently gave an interview to Paper Magazine which was kind of in support of Tidal but veered more on the explanation on its logo and clarifications upon how he’s not a part of some secret world running organization such as the Illuminati.
