Kate Major Lohan arrested for drunkenly attacking Michael Lohan

Police arrested Kate on the basis of a complaint from husband Michael Lohan

Kate Major Lohan has been arrested for attacking husband Michael Lohan during alleged drunken rage.

According to TMZ, Boca Raton police received a call by Michael Lohan on Thursday evening, claiming his wife Kate Major Lohan attacked him and struck him physically while she was visibly drunk. Police took Kate into the custody and sent her to the Palm Beach County Jail where she was charged for battery.

Kate Major Lohan, a former journalist is the second wife of Michael Lohan and stepmother of Lindsay Lohan. She married Michael in October 2013 and they have two children together, 2 years old Landon and 3 months old Logan.

Police reported that Kate was visibly intoxicated with slurred speech and was smelling alcohol. The officer further described “her eyes blood shot and glossy and her face red and flushed”. Kate admitted herself for being drunken but also claimed that she was provoked by Michael Lohan for getting berserk. Kate also accused Michael for grabbing her by the throat. Though, no visible injuries were noticed by the police.

It is not the first time when 32 years old Kate Major Lohan ran into trouble with the law. She was charged for attacking a police officer back in 2012. She was arrested in March 2013 following a drunken feud with Michael. Most recently, in /4/2014, she was sentenced to eight months in prison after found guilty of DUI. She also admitted herself to rehab center after she released from jail but it appears that Kate could not avoid relapse and is having some issues which she has been facing in the past.
