The Super Bowl 2015 Halftime Show is right around the corner. Katy Perry talks Super Bowl in the Billboard Magazine cover shoot and according to The Onion she dripped hints that the Halftime Show will be awful.

Katy Perry is on the verge of her most important performance of her career. She will perform the Super Bowl 2015 Halftime Show on Sunday. Everything about the Super Bowl Halftime Show is very secret. We know so far that Lenny Kravitz will join Perry on stage and Missy Elliott is rumored to be also a guest performer. Yesterday we carried a report that Katy Perry’s costume would be a security risk.

In the Billboard cover story Katie Perry reveals a bit more about her Super Bowl Halftime performance. Katy Perry is not going to sell anything new with her Halftime performance. She says: “There isn’t any selling point going up the day after,” she says. “I’m just selling my music to the broadest, widest audience ever.”

What can we expect from Katy Perry in her Halftime Show: “I want the show to be quintessential Katy. It’s like the exclamation point on the whole last cycle. This is the cherry on top of everything I’ve already done.”

On a funny note, The Onion has heard Katy Perry say this about the Halftime Show: “Come halftime on Sunday, you better be ready to see the absolute worst, most god-awful piece of garbage you could possibly imagine, some lame duet performance that no one would ever want to see or hear in a million years.”

The Pepsi sponsored Super Bowl 2015 Halftime Show will be 12 minutes long and over 100 million viewers will watch it.
