If you are having Cottage Cheese for breakfast you should check what kind you have in your fridge. Kraft Foods recalls 1.2 million cases of cottage cheese.
The recall affects select Knudsen Cottage Cheese, Breakstone’s Cottage Cheese, Simply Kraft Cottage Cheese, and Daily Chef Cottage Cheese.
Kraft says that some ingredients used in these cottage cheese products were not stored in accordance with Kraft’s temperature standards.
This could create conditions that could lead to premature spoilage and/or food borne illness; therefore, the company is issuing the recall as a precaution. Kraft says that it is unlikely that these conditions would arise. The affected products all have code dates from /4/9, 2014 through July 23, 2014.
The recalled products have only been shipped in the United States.
