Lenovo ready to take on Apple Watch with its Magic View Smart Watch

Lenovo’s next smart watch features a secondary display for a rich multimedia experience

Finding the long list of smartwatches available on the market a little boring, Lenovo decided to put it’s own twist on smartwatches at the Tech World Show Beijing. Lenovo’s latest smartwatch, known as Magic View is a departure from the more conventional ways of using your smartphone. Lenovo’s Magic View goes unique with a second display on the bezel that is facing the user. What it actually does is that a the second display allows you extra real estate which in turn allows for a much more detailed and refined media experience.

The second display capitalizes on ‘optical reflection’ that allows the projection surface of the Magic View to display larger pictures despite its small footprint. The second display can be used now, for viewing maps and looking around images and even watching videos with the help of the accelerometer inside the watch. It gives an all different options of privacy for it’s users that should be a welcome sign for all Lenovo’s Magic View.

The competition in the world of Android wear is heating up as we witness a growth in the demand and prospects of these wrist gadgets. With Lenovo’s latest offering, we are safe to assume that Lenovo is on the right track and it are innovations like these that push the boundaries of Android wear and take competition to a whole new level. Surely other major smartphone manufacturers would follow in the same footsteps and will continue to inspire us with their latest technology and features.
