- LG unveils New OLED TVs and 4K Prime UHD TV with WebOS 2.0
LG Electronics today unveils its 2015 global TV lineup in Seoul. With their new dual premium strategy, LG wants to lead the premium TV market.
strategy which will help them focus on premium TV market with their new lineup. LG is confident that with its Dual Premium strategy, it will surely become one of the leaders in TV makers. They will be producing OLED TVs.
The premium TV range is growing as they are also looking to make Prime UHD TVs. The new lineup that LG will release include, 55” 65” and 77” OLED TV units. These models come with curved and flat screens.
The company owes it to their ABCD concept which helps them with the production of cutting edge OLED displays. ‘A’ stands for Angle and LG claim that viewers that are sitting in off center positions will also get to enjoy the exceptional picture quality. ‘B’ stand for black. Whereas ‘C’ stands for color.
LG claims that their new TVs include advanced display features which include infinite contrast ratios and great colors. ‘D’ stands for Design and LG claim they are trying to make the slimmest TV possible while keeping overall design clean and simple. LG also won a CES award in January for best OLED TV.
LG is expecting its sales to go through the roof as they are working really hard on their technology and because viewers these days want the best device that gives them the best detail. So with that in mind LG is thinking about making new models that will meet the consumer requirement of a greater selection of premium TV products.
LG is also making a new prime ultra HD TV. This model is better than their ultra HD TV. The new prime UHD TV has features like Color Prime technology, Ultra Luminance, 4K In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel and it also has a Prime Mastering Engine which bring a cinema like effect.
The new Prime UHD TV has a 8.5 mm thin display. Its competitors are 40 and 50mm thin so LG is the clear winner here. The user experience is enhanced by their new webOS 2.0. The company has been using the webOS for quite some time and now with the new webOS 2.0 it has received a great update.
