LG’s G Watch spotted on Google Play Germany

The LG G Watch is expected to be shown at the Google I/O starting June 25

It had been a while since we had gotten any news on the LG G Watch but looks like LG just remembered a way to stay in the news. Of course they wouldn’t risk letting all of us forgetting about the device even before it is official. The devices was spotted on Google Play’s devices website in Germany for only a little while because it was removed shortly afterwards. For those of you who still had a fraction of a doubt left about whether the device is real or not should get a confirmation from this. But the news is that the smartwatch is going to be sold by Google just like the Moto 360 smartwatch. So when the device comes out, we can expect to see it on Google’s Play website alongside the Nexuses and Google Play Edition devices.

LG G Watch would be the very first platform for the Google’s Android Wear OS to run on. Equipped with a Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1.65″ always-on display of 280 x 280 resolution, 400 mAh battery (100 mAh more than the Samsung Gear 2), 512 MB of RAM and 4 gigs of storage, the watch is expected to arrive the end of June in Europe at a price of €199. It will be available in the rest of the world after 1st July, alongside the LG G3.
