Argentine’s star footballer, Lionel Messi, is facing tax evasion charges and he might leave Barcelona if things don’t work out in Spain.

Lionel Messi might be planning to leave Barcelona if his tax evasion situation worsens. Messi and his father Jorge Messi are facing trial and it is reported that they have both defrauded the authorities and tried to avoid taxes.

The authorities are said to be asking £3.1million in taxes from Lionel Messi. Lionel and Jorge are both denying the charges and are trying to get away with the charges.

If the case complicates and things don’t work out, the Argentine star might leave Barcelona. PSG and Manchester City are the only financial giants that can afford the Argentine star.

They both can pay his huge wages and can also pay a world record fee for the little maestro. Messi has previously stated that Barcelona has done so much for him and that he wants to finish his career with the Catalan giants.

He has been made FIFA player of the year four times and he wants to give it his all for Barcelona. Chelsea might also be able to get Lionel Messi as it was reported earlier this year that Jose Mourinho was a fan of the Argentine star.

Lionel Messi claims that he wants to stay with Barcelona even with things worsening. Manchester United have seen things go wrong for them in the past year and a half.

They have recruited world class players this summer and they are looking to add to those lavish signings. Even Angel Di Maria claims that they need a big injection at Old Trafford and Lionel Messi might just be that injection.

Manchester United recently made two big deals with Adidas and Chevrolet and they will be getting a combined £130m a year by only these two sponsors. They have also signed deals with many companies in the past year and money won’t be a problem if they decide to lure Messi to Old Trafford.

Ander Herrea said that they have the world’s best three strikers and Lionel Messi might just be the thing they need in midfield to become Champions League competitors.
