It has the ability to control volume, channels, enter the guide and more. The cool part about the Smart Keyboard is that it works with set top boxes like the Apple TV, Roku, and game consoles. If you have ever tried to enter text messages using the PS3 game pad or long search queries, you know how irritating that can be.
The keyboard also ships with the Harmony Hub. The Harmony Hub allows you to control your TV system using apps available for the iPhone and Android devices. Using those apps, you can control settings on your devices and build macros for performing actions that require multiple input changes.
The keyboard does have space for three macros. The Logitech Harmony Smart Keyboard supports the Xbox One and PS3, no word on PS4 support is offered. You would think it would support the PS4 if it works with the PS3. The remote works with 225,000 home entertainment devices form over 5000 brands. The keyboard is available for pre-order now for $149.99.
